While driving on a road in California, a volunteer from R.A.D. Rescue noticed a dog nearby. She pulled over to check on him and saw that his face was unusually swollen.
Upon closer examination, the reason became horrifyingly clear. The volunteer shared on TikTok that his head was severely swollen due to a tight chain around his neck.
A Desperate Need for Help
The sight of this poor dog, suffering from such blatant cruelty, was truly heart-wrenching. Knowing he needed immediate help, the volunteer lured him into her car with some chicken.
The Road to Recovery
The dog, now named Chunk the Hunk, was taken to the nearest veterinarian clinic in California for a full checkup. Despite his condition, Chunk seemed to enjoy the ride, showing a resilience that was remarkable given his circumstances.
