Serenity’s journey began in Texas at the Corpus Christi Animal Control. She arrived in heartbreaking condition—her tiny body covered in motor oil and suffering from extreme neglect. Surrendered by her previous owners, Serenity was also diagnosed with parvovirus, a deadly virus that could have ended her life.
Her sad, vulnerable face quickly spread across social media, capturing the hearts of animal lovers everywhere, including the dedicated team at Destiny’s Road Animal Rescue in Massachusetts. Moved by her plight, the rescue organization stepped in, determined to give Serenity the chance she deserved.
Barely able to stand, Serenity was transferred to Callaghan Hospital in San Antonio, where she received intensive, lifesaving treatment.
