Neglected Mama Dog Used for Breeding Finally Learns What It Is Like to Live a Normal Life

Many dogs are tragically used for breeding and profit, often enduring neglect and harsh conditions. Isabella, a mama dog, is one such example. Her story is a heartbreaking testament to the cruelty of some owners, but also a beacon of hope, thanks to kind rescuers.

Isabella’s New Freedom

When the rescuers from Happy Doggo arrived at her location, they were appalled by what they saw. Isabella had no access to clean water or food. Neighbors had been giving her scraps, but they knew she needed more help. The sight of her tied to a tight leash, unable to move, broke their hearts. Despite her dire situation, Isabella remained optimistic, wagging her tail when she sensed kindness from her rescuers.

A Fresh Start for Isabella’s Pups

The rescuers quickly spread Isabella’s story, and thankfully, they found foster and forever homes for her puppies. However, Isabella’s fate was more complicated. Legally, she belonged to her neglectful owner, and rescuing her from private property without permission would have been a crime.

Isabella’s Promising Future

Determined to free Isabella, the Happy Doggo team negotiated with her owner. After a long and difficult process, they succeeded. Isabella was finally free. Once at the shelter, she underwent a miraculous transformation. Her social nature shone through, and she embraced her newfound freedom with curiosity and joy.

Surrounded by love, toys, and cuddles, Isabella is now a happy dog. Thanks to the amazing work of her rescuers, she will be cared for until she is ready to be placed for adoption and find her forever home. Until then, she will continue to enjoy her new life, full of the love and care she always deserved.

This gorgeous girl has been tied up on an incredibly short chain for her entire life, used for breeding. This is her story of freedom and her new life… ⛓️ Beautiful Isabella has been chained up since she was three months old, made to have puppies at just a year old herself. ❌ We can’t go into too much detail but because she was on private property, we couldn’t just take her. 💧 She’d only managed to survive because kind locals had been sneaking her food and water. The conditions she was living in were terrible and local authorities had to get involved to get her free. You can see how delighted she was to have her freedom. Now she’s with us at Happy Doggo land and the rest of her life starts here. Her puppies have also found homes where they’ll be loved and looked after. Lovely Isabella will never need to go back to that place again 🥰 Isabella would not have made it were it not for the help of a kind local feeder and concerned locals. They were able to bring in food and water on a regular basis to keep er alive. They were also able to take the puppies away and find them homes. Getting Isabella herself released was not easy and took a lot of negotiation and help in the background where both Samui Street Dogs and Bern from @soidogfoundationofficial were intrumental.
