Mao Mao, a beautiful Labrador retriever, lives in Yichang, a massive Chinese city, and this small dog has silenced hundreds in front of the television with his loyalty.
Mao Mao and his owner have been on an incredible journey together. Every evening, when his owner returns from work—sometimes late at night—she has to walk down a dark street alone. The street is pitch black, and she has no one to accompany her.
But what a precious and smart dog she has. ❤
For years, Mao Mao’s owner’s parents would come to accompany her on her walk home. Over time, the Labrador developed an amazing habit. Now, when they get word that their daughter is about to get off the bus, Mao Mao becomes the family’s protector. They send him out with a flashlight to meet her in the dark.
Seeing Mao Mao pick up his beloved owner and protect her until she’s safely home exemplifies the extraordinary bond between dogs and their humans.
