Debbie left to fetch the Supervisor. When asked how I knew she couldn’t be impartial, I explained that I had reliable information indicating a close friendship between Jill and Debbie. Supervisor then addressed Debbie directly, prompting her to confirm or deny the allegation. Debbie simply stated, “I can be impartial.”
Taking charge, Supervisor asked the other HR representative to accompany him, and the four of us convened to review the complaint. I expressed gratitude for their accommodation, despite my concerns about potentially annoying them. Throughout the interview, Debbie appeared visibly agitated, likely due to her expectation of recommending my termination.
