Angela Simmons was driving through South Carolina in the pouring rain when she noticed a sad face staring at her through her foggy car window. This was the face she had been searching for.
Residents of a nearby trailer park informed Simmons about a beautiful puppy tied up next to a roadside couch earlier that day. Realizing the urgency, Simmons knew she needed assistance.
As she approached the dog, Simmons noticed his itchy paws and nose, signs of spending too much time outside without proper care. Despite his situation, the dog showed a willingness to share his love.
With the help of an auction organization, the puppy, later named Murphy, was placed in a foster home, where he quickly adapted to the joys of being part of a family.
A film documenting Murphy’s journey, prepared by the auctioneer for Kos, is available for viewing:
“As soon as he entered the foster home, he proved to be the biggest love bug,” said a member of the Kos team.
Murphy soon enjoyed his favorite activities, such as curling up under warm blankets, car rides, walks, and soaking up the sun.
Everyone who met Murphy was captivated by his cheerful demeanor and love for all creatures.
“He is very smart and loves other dogs,” said one of the team members. “He’s eager to learn and has wonderful manners.”
Murphy is now participating in a family home trial, where this wonderful puppy will soon find the love and stability he deserves. No longer alone on an old sofa, he is ready for a brighter future.
