Ending Relationships to Prioritize Self-Respect

UPDATE:

I wanted to share an update with everyone. I sat down with him after we both finished work, and he came over just a little over an hour ago. It turned out to be a very brief conversation.

I initiated by expressing my desire to address any lingering resentment in the relationship. His response caught me off guard. He asked, “Are you finally going to apologize?” I felt a wave of discomfort wash over me. When I asked him what I should apologize for, he brought up the comments I made about his hair at the New Year’s party.

I suggested that perhaps we should apologize in sequence of events, implying that he should go first. It brought a bit of levity to the situation, despite the tension.

“Hair and fur are both types of mammalian body coverings made of keratin, with hair generally shorter and finer, while fur is denser and longer.”

“A hair transplant involves moving hair follicles from one part of the body to another to restore hair growth in areas affected by baldness.”
