Griffon, a lucky 6-month-old stray puppy, found himself in the caring arms of a U.S. Naval Commander after wandering the streets in search of a home.
The Commander, aware of the dangers Griffon faced on the naval base, chose to rescue him, guided by his unit’s motto, “Those who arrive alive, leave alive.”
Upon his arrival at the base, Griffon quickly won everyone’s hearts, forming a special connection with the Commander, who now plans to adopt him and bring him back to the United States.
According to Paws of War, the nonprofit organization that shared Griffon’s heartwarming journey, the little pup, now called Little Griffon, has become a cherished member of the base’s family, spreading joy to all.
Spokesperson Gary Baumann expressed excitement about the upcoming reunion between the Commander and Griffon, highlighting Griffon’s cheerful nature and the anticipation of his new life with the Commander’s family in Maryland.
