A dog was discovered lying on the side of the road in critical condition, barely clinging to life. Luckily, he was found just in time, as he likely wouldn’t have survived much longer. He was rushed to the animal hospital without delay.
Weighing only 15 pounds when he should have been between 35 and 45 pounds, this little guy was severely underweight. After three days in the hospital, he was placed with a caregiver. His determination to survive was evident, and by the end of the week, he could stand on his own and even take short walks!
As his health improved, his fur began to grow back, revealing his true appearance. Eventually, a loving home was found for him with Megan and her husband, who already had two other dogs. It’s heartwarming to see how well Tej has fit into their family!
