From the moment she was born, a sweet puppy named Willow dreamt of finding a loving family to spend her days with.
Sadly, Willow’s dreams were shattered when she was abandoned at a local market, left to fend for herself on the harsh streets.
Despite her best efforts to remain strong, Willow, just a baby, needed a protective figure to shield her from the world. She cried and pleaded, hoping that a compassionate person or another dog would come to her rescue.
Help Arrives for Willow
Fortunately, a kind-hearted person heard Willow’s cries. Noticing her dire condition, they took her in and rushed her to the nearest vet.
Her heartbeat was faint, and her body temperature was dangerously low. The vets diagnosed her with a hypoglycemic episode and immediately placed her on a heating pad to warm her up.
Willow was also suffering from mange, scabies, and severe malnutrition.
After the vet visit, her rescuer took her home, gave her a warm bath, and fed her to help regain her strength.
With care and attention from her new rescuer, Willow began to recover. She grew more playful and joyful, and her true personality started to shine through.
She developed a healthy appetite and became more active, spending her time playing with her new family and her dog siblings.
Willow is now on the mend and looking for her forever home!

Doggos and Neglect
Unfortunately, many dogs still endure the life Willow was rescued from.
According to The Wildest, 20% of cats and dogs in the U.S. are homeless, with 5.9 million dogs living on the streets and 2.3 million in shelters.
Many of these pups have never experienced the comfort of a warm bed or a gentle belly rub. They know only hunger and loneliness, struggling daily to find scraps to eat.
But there is hope!
With care and compassion, we can change their stories! By coming together, we can bring them off the streets and into loving homes, giving them the lives they deserve.
