Flowers for sale in the UK and Ireland are a popular form of accommodation and have seen a boom in recent years with the number of properties in use doubling over the past decade, according to research by real estate company NPD Group.
But some of the most popular floral housing designs also contain the word ‘flowers’, such as the floral apartment in London and floral residence in the US.
NPD found that of the more than 1,000 floral homes sold in the United Kingdom last year, just under a quarter were made of flower material.
A similar percentage of homes sold across the US were made from a floral material, according the research.
NOPD analysed the properties sold for £15m or more in England, Wales and Scotland in 2016 and found that an average floral housing price was around £5.8 million (€7.8m) but that it is likely that there are higher priced floral homes in other parts of the country.
The average price for a flower home in London was £12.8million, according NPD.
The research also found that the average price of floral homes was more than double that of homes for sale.
“The fact that floral housing is such a popular and trendy form of housing indicates that there is a demand for it in many areas of the UK,” said Tom Evans, research director at NPD in a statement.
The firm also found the floral apartments are the most expensive type of home in the country, with prices running up to more than £20m in some cases.
The trend for flower houses has been fuelled by the popularity of online dating services such as Tinder, where customers can browse floral homes for rent, but also offer tips on how to design a flower house.
NOPEAL FALLS In 2016, NOPEal Falls, an online marketplace for floral homes, was launched, which has now become a popular online destination for the luxury and luxurious designs.
It currently offers more than 6,000 listings for flowers and apartments across the United States, Europe and the Caribbean.
It says it is one of the leading sources for floral houses in the world, with sales volumes growing by 20 per cent in 2016.
According to NOPE, online buyers often search for floral residences in the USA, UK and other regions where floral housing has been popular.
Nopeal Falls chief executive, Paul F. O’Connor, said the marketplace is the “perfect platform” to reach buyers in the U.S. and Europe.
“For the first time ever, we’ve found that consumers are attracted to the beautiful flowers, while they are still finding new opportunities for luxury and luxury living,” Mr O’Connors said in a release.
“Our goal is to become a destination for flower homes that cater to buyers from all around the world and will help them achieve their dream of living in a luxurious and luxurious lifestyle.”
The NOPE website states: “A growing trend is for home owners to search online for their dream home.
NPOF offers an incredible platform for those who have found a passion and passion for their flower home, to find their dream house.”
However, many of the listings on the site are not for a living and often offer a more ‘luxury’ option, which can result in the prices going higher.
“There is an inherent lack of quality and quality is what we are here for,” said Mr O`Connor.
